In Lak'ech Visionary Art Series


"In Lak'ech" - The Mayan principle of Universal Love (A Mayan saying, greeting, and honoring, similar to Namaste) The profound realization meaning "I am another yourself, you are another myself' ~ "I am you and you are me." The Maya priest-shamans recognized that we are one global human being. It is about dissolving the ego into complete unconditional love; "dissolving until you are 'NOT', then the World enters you."

This is a time to embrace our fears and cultivate the courage to recognize responsibility for all that we experience; bringing that experience into full harmonizing connection with all of our brothers and sisters residing within the kingdoms of Mother Earth, and with Spirit, to manifest the reality of our power. It is imperative to swim in the oceans of our dreams, and with our hearts and imaginations, responsibly cocreate our reality.

Message of In Lak'ech Series

This series represents the Five Elements of Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Spirit that speak to the mind, body, heart, and soul, personally and collectively. They contain within them Mayan Sacred Glyphs as a connective thread through which a message of healing was revealed. This took me along a path where discoveries, inspirations, and compassion became the guiding lights of my journey. These encoded "Healing Portals" take us on a journey of integration and healing, as we embrace a return to natural harmony and imbue the beauty and value known by the Ancients into the now, along with healing those elements that it is time to evolve forward from. In light of the "Future of Education," there is much to learn from Ancient wisdom; learning from the past in order to flourish in the now. Mother Earth is calling us to remember. The Universe is reminding us to believe. The healing revealed will be as unique as the individual experiencing it. The creation process has been a personally healing and integrative journey. However, as this healing takes place for me, that energy becomes available to everyone. These five paintings will represent my life's work thus far. Each painting has been executed over a period of one year each, from first inspiration to completion, mirroring a personal and collective process revealed and executed in divine timing.

   We are involved in an evolutionary process of our human existence wherein the collective consciousness has been moving through the energy centers of the Chakra system. By fully embracing Chakra Four, we will find balance and the ability to propel us into the next dimensions that await us, as life is a continual, progressive opportunity. This Fourth (or Heart Chakra) lies center of the Chakra system and acts as integrator of the two polarities of body and spirit. It creates a bridge that merges and disintegrates all boundaries and allows us access to our true essence and the sharing of that with others. In order to access its energy we need to create balance and harmony between all polarities, which is inclusive of all aspects that are represented by the active male and passive female archetypes (including the dual counterpart within each) within self and without; those of light and shadow, mind and body, physicality and spirituality, conscious and subconscious, harmony between races, and ecological balance. The focus is that of integration. Spirituality is essential as a tool to honor the body, Earth, and all of creation. The Collective Consciousness is at the brink of a paradigm shift that we are all a part of, but with awareness, can now actively take part in.

Cellular memories compel us to perpetuate repeated experiences until we have learned to choose from a higher good and with a shift of perspective. Realizing that change is necessary and embracing the process will help support guidance into the higher frequencies of the energy centers within each Chakra, beginning with the Heart (Fourth Chakra) - The Bridge. Or as I like to call it, the "Emerald Bridge."

It is through Universal Love, embracing the value and beauty of creation in its many forms, and dispelling of fear that we can come together and heal our Earth. Living consciously and compassionately for all of creation is crucial so that we may realign with the Cosmos. Universal Love and Peace is needed to bring us to higher frequencies of being in the New Age that awaits us. The Ancients have been channeled to reveal a message of healing that is needed at this time. These healing messages are encoded within each painting of the In Lakech series and speak both to the individual and the collective, to support the empowered experience we have entered.
